Chief Medical Writer job vacancies with Max Resourcing

A Chief Medical Writer leads and manages a team of Medical Writers and Senior Medical Writers who research specialised areas of medical science in order to write, edit and proof read content for medical company product electronic and printed marketing support.  A Chief Medical Writer is also responsible for working with the design and production teams in order to ensure that the marketing support meets the company’s requirements.    

A Chief Medical Writer's key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of Medical Writers/Senior Medical Writers
  • Working with design and production teams to produce a range of printed and computer based materials to meet the needs of the company’s Pharmaceutical clients

Qualifications and experience required to be a Chief Medical Writer:

  • Strong leadership skills, dynamic and innovative approach as well as a sold scientific background
  • Preferably educated to a PhD level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including PowerPoint and Word
  • Relevant medical information, communications or marketing writing experience
