Visa requirements to work in Denmark

The rules regarding residence and work in Denmark vary according to country of origin. There are special rules for citizens of the Nordic countries and for EU citizens.

Nordic countries 

Citizens of the Nordic countries have the right to work and reside in each other's countries. 

EU 

Citizens from the EU have the right to move freely across the internal borders of the EU: to work, study, travel, etc. EU citizens who are employees in Denmark are exempt from the requirement of a work permit. If the stay is expected to last for more than three months, they must get an EU registration certificate from the regional state administration. If you are from a non-EU country, you should check with your nearest Danish Embassy about visa requirements and regulations for working in Denmark.
